Online giving is rolling out on Paystack across Africa (Mobile Money included) and Stripe everywhere else. Donations and event payments are processed at your provider’s own rate, passed straight through: Pastoral Office adds nothing on top, and there are no setup fees, monthly minimums, or cancellation fees.
Frequently asked questions about pricing
What happens if we go over a plan limit?
Nothing breaks. Everything already in your account keeps working, nobody in your congregation notices, and no data is ever touched. You will see a note suggesting an upgrade, and once you are at capacity the module simply will not take on new usage until you upgrade or make room.
Can we change a subscription after we sign up?
Any time, in either direction, module by module. Many churches turn Registrations up for camp season and back down to free afterwards. Downgrading just asks that your current usage fits the smaller plan first.
Are there cancellation or start-up fees?
No. You pay only for the modules you use, monthly, and you can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel a module at any time without any fee.
Which Calendar plan do we choose if we do not manage rooms?
The free plan. Events are unlimited on every plan; the Calendar ladder only prices managed rooms and resources with booking and conflict detection.
Is texting extra?
Email and in-app messaging are free and unlimited. SMS and WhatsApp messages are pay as you go at the carrier rate, so a quiet month costs nothing.
Do processing fees go to Pastoral Office?
No. Card and Mobile Money processing is charged by the payment provider at their rate, and we add nothing on top of it. Your subscription is the only money that comes to us.
